What should I wear?
You should wear loose clothing, something comfortable to move around in. Allow for clothing that allows the therapist
to get to the joint.
Do I need a referral?
No, with self-pay physical therapy you are able to go to PT without a referral. However, Delaware requires a
physicians referral for dry needling treatments.
What is Direct Access?
Delaware is limited Direct Access state meaning that you are able to be treated by a therapist for 30 days without a
prescription. To continue beyond the 30 day mark we will need to get a script from a physician.
How do you schedule?
You can schedule online or you can call to schedule.
Do you take Insurance?
I am currently set up as a hybrid clinic. This means that I accept cash payments from patients and payments from
select health insurance providers. This model allows for flexibility in payment options. You will be given a
Superbill to submit for out of network benefits for reimbursement if you wish.
Why don’t you take insurance?
By taking a select insurances and focusing on a fee for service model this allows for a more patient-centered approach
to care.
What Insurances do you take?
Currently I am in network with Highmark commercial insurance, Auto and Workman's Comp.
Do you take Workman's comp or Auto?
Yes, I will work with your claims adjustor.
What does it mean to be Out of Network?
Being out of network means I am not contracted with your insurance carrier.
Am I able to get reimbursed?
Yes, you the patient would file for out of network benefits with your insurance carrier. You may get full or
partial reimbursement.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Your time is very important to you and your treatment, attending regular physical
therapy sessions allows for quicker healing/recovery. If cancellations become frequent, I reserve the right to terminate

Dry needling is a form of physical therapy that involves the use of a thin, solid needle, that is inserted into the skin to
stimulate trigger points, which are tight, tender bands of muscle tissue. The needle is inserted in the muscle without
injecting any fluid. The goal of dry needling is to reduce muscle tension and improve blood flow to help with pain
relief.

when the services are deemed medically necessary. We are able to treat these clients via wellness services.
